Fit Lowcountry provides running coaching services for those interesting in beginning to or improving running. We are made up of 2 RRCA Certified Running Coaches who can help you out whether you are just wanting to know how to start to run, how to run a marathon, how to run a half marathon, 5k, 10k, or just how to run faster in general.


Why should I hire a running coach?

A running coach can be a great asset in helping you reach your running goals. Most runners end up injured at least twice a year and most of those injuries can be prevented by avoiding common mistakes. A Certified Running Coach can help you in the following ways:
  • Identify the best way for you to train
  • Help you avoid injury 
  • Provide a personalized program that is adapted to your level of fitness and your goals
  • Provide you with valuable information such as how to fuel before, during, and after your runs, 
  • Instruct you on how to progress at your pace
  • Inform you on the best way to prepare for a race
  • Help to progress your mileage safely

On top of these things a running coach is there to be your
mentor, motivator, and cheerleader. Training can be tough sometimes, allowing yourself the benefit of a running coach will help get you through those tough day and will help you celebrate those great days!
